A Bit About Me

My name is Robert Worrall aka A Mad Poet.

 

I'm just a simple fool who's a bard and not really cool. I'm just a simple mind a poet, who's kind.

 

I have always enjoyed writing poetry, even as a youngster, but it has only been recently that I have decided to publish them. When writing poetry I like to use mythology and ancient history, cryptic thoughts and the natural world. This provides the variety of poems that you will find in my books.

A Mad Poet's Ramblings are poems about the places I visit and what I see while out and about. I portray these poems along with the photographs that I take on my journey in what I have termed "Photopoetry" which are photographs that speak to you.

 

Although I use the word writing, it actually feels more like the words and verses find me at the places I visit, with inspiration arriving from the animals, people and other things I see.
